A pitch-black ascent to the summit resulted in a dramatic sunrise Eastwards over the Trossachs illustrating the ruggedness of these hills. As the morning progressed, the Isle Of Arran could be seen Southwest and the pockets of snow on Ben Nevis were visible to the North.
